In Nashville zijn gisteravond de nominaties voor de Grammy Awards 2013 bekend gemaakt. Grote kanshebbers zijn onder andere de rappers Jay-Z en Kanye West. Beide artiesten zijn 6 keer genomineerd voor de beroemde muziekprijzen.
Naast de 2 bekende heren zijn ook Frank Ocean, Dan Auerbach van The Black Keys, Mumford & Sons en Fun. kanshebbers voor 6 beeldjes. De nominaties voor de Grammy Awards 2013 werden aangekondigd tijdens het Grammy Nominations Concert Live, dat gepresenteerd werd door LL Cool J en Taylor Swift.
Op zondag 10 februari worden de Grammy Awards 2013 in Los Angeles uitgereikt. In totaal worden er 81 prijzen weggeven, zoals voor Record Of The Year en Best New Artist.
