Gisteravond werden de winnaars van de Teen Choice Awards 2011 bekend gemaakt. De uitreiking werd voor de 13de keer georganiseerd in Los Angeles.
Kaley Cuoco, Penny uit The Big Bang Theory, had de eer om samen met vele andere celebrities de winnaars van de Teen Choice Awards 2011 bekend te maken. In totaal kwamen er ruim 100 miljoen stemmen binnen en werden er meer dan 50 awards uitgereikt.
Selena Gomez vs Justin Bieber
Zo wist Selena Gomez maar liefst 5 Teen Choice Awards mee naar huis te nemen. Hierdoor mocht zij 1 award meer in ontvangst nemen dan haar vriend Justin Bieber. Selena won onder meer de titel lekkerste vrouw en Who Says werd verkozen tot best singel. Bieber werd onder andere uitgeroepen tot beste mannelijke artiest en lekkerste man.
De films Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows werd beloond met 7 awards en The Twilight Saga: Eclipse met 3. De tv-serie The Vampire Diaries sleepte 6 awards binnen en Glee en Gossip Girl beide 3.
