Zondagavond werden in Los Angeles de winnaars van de Teen Choice Awards 2014 onthuld. Onder meer One Direction, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez en Lea Michele gingen met een surfboard award naar huis.
Modern Family actrice Sarah Hyland en Teen Wolf acteur Tyler Posey presenteerden de show. De winnaar van de belangrijkste Teen Choice Award 2014, de Ultimate Choice Award, was Selena Gomez. Ariana Grande won de prijs voor beste vrouwelijke artiest en Lea Michele werd gekozen tot beste actrice op tv. Verder werd One Direction voor de 3de keer uitgeroepen tot beste muziekgroep en sleepte daarnaast ook nog eens 3 andere prijzen in de wacht.
